• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
• Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Procurement & Contracts department / section to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
• Initiate, track and test system enhancements and changes.
• Ensure SAP utilization for all Procurement & Contracts processes and document uploading to ease performance monitoring and status reporting.
• Recommend for the required design of SAP/SharePoint extracted performance measurement templates or dashboards.
• Prepare periodic reports by extracting, collecting, analyzing, and summarizing various procurement related information from SAP as well as from non-system captured operations.
• Respond to end users’ and suppliers’ inquiries relating to system functions changes and problems and provide the possible fix and enhancement.
• Maintain material master & catalogue data by creating, changing or deleting records.
• Conduct training sessions on how to use the procurement system to ensure sharing the necessary knowledge to the end users before they start using the system.
• Prepare user manual for the procurement system and update it periodically
• Analyse, develop and establish departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate department success in order to meet business goals & objectives.
• Lead Procurement Department improvement initiatives and Quality or enhancement meetings.
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Comply with all relevant information Security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality
