The all‐wheel‐drive system is a carryover from the previous generation SRX and has received rave reviews from both customers and critics alike. Standard equipment on the SRX includes a dual–zone climate control system, a keyless remote system, a Bose audio system that features both a CD player and MP3 capability, power doors, power locks, power mirrors, and power steering.
Cadillac has redesigned the SRX for the 2010 model year, and the basis of the new 2010 SRX is the refined 3.0‐liter six–cylinder engine. The engine also features variable valve timing and a direct injection system that feeds a dual overhead cam valve train.
